Eagle Beach Aruba Hotels Questions asked

Resolved Question: What hotel should I stay at for my honeymoon to Aruba?

My fiancee and I are planning our honeymoon towards the end of October this year to Aruba. I've been looking through many posts on yahoo answers, tripadvisor.com, and even talked to a few people. I really just wanted to find some good advice about what hotel would be the best for what we are looking for... We aren't really big into the gambling aspects and hear the beaches are better and more quiet and romantic at Eagle rather than Palm, so we were kind of leaning towards a hotel on the Eagle beach. We don't really want something that's going to cost us an arm and a leg but we want something semi nice still. Wasn't sure either if all inclusive would be the way to go or not. Some of the places like Bucuti beach doesn't offer that and didn't know if we should look for ones that do or if the cost would still even out even if we eat out. How expensive is it to eat out all the time there? I know we wanted to go out and eat a few times at least when we are there so I wasn't sure what I should expect price-wise. Just wanted to see if anyone had some tips and advice for where we should stay, thank you! more

Resolved Question: Aruba: Palm Beach vs. Eagle Beach?

Most resorts in Aruba are located along Palm and Eagle Beach...I only know that Palm beach is north of Eagle Beach, but are there any other differences? Like hotel price? Beauty? or does one have more clubs and drinking then the other? Thanks, I'm very curious!!! more

Resolved Question: Aruba Hotel Dilemma?

Hello my husband and I are planning a trip to Aruba this August. We picked it because it is outside the hurricane belt in the ABC islands. I do not know much about Aruba but have booked two hotels and am wondering which is the best fit for us. We like upscale and mellow hotels. We are extensive travelers who have stayed at some of the finest hotels, but we also love hotels with local charm. We love Small Inns and B&B's as well at the Ritz. The first hotel I booked is the Westin Aruba. We are platinum members of Starwood hotels, so we often get upgraded and treated well at their properties. But I am worried this place is too spring break an won’t have the peace and quiet we are looking for. But it does look nice. I also booked the Golden Tulip Resort Bucuti -Tara Suites & Spa. This is a smaller European style boutique hotel with great reviews on trip advisor. The westin is on Palm beach and the Bucuti is on Eagle beach. Any advice on which to pick would be great. Thanks! more
