I just learned today my family is going on vacation to Aruba in April. The hotel we're staying at is fairly small. If I remember right, there are 8 buildings, each 4 floors. There is a beach behind us, but my family prefers to rent a car for the week and go to a beach 5 minutes away. There is a little resturant and some shops in the resort as well. I am going on a vaction in the middle of next year with my family. There will be a total of 8 adults and 2 children. The children will be 3 years old and the other 7 months. I am trying to find the safest island to take my family. I would also like for the island that we choose to have a wide variety of attractions. In this it will need to include spectacular dive sites snorkleing and a wide variety of shopping, for the ladies. The majority of the people have been to St.Croix, as well as aruba. My mum has a website for her shop, she paid for it and it is really horrible and irrelevant to her shop. I have made a new page for her using flash and i have the login info for the hosting company, aruba.it. http://hosting.aruba.it/?lang=EN The problem is, I have no idea how to get my page up in place of the old site. I have tried with filezilla but my muddle around until getting results approach is only ok for things like flash and general use of windows. I don't even know if filezilla is the way to go. Can anyone advise of a better program or how to go about just uploading a page to a domain? My mum has no idea how it was done originally and the designer who made her site is no longer reachable. I have never written on a blog such as this before, but your answers and reflection on the personality traits of the Gemini are pretty accurate. I am a Leo male and my ex-Gemini met two years ago and started a relationship unlike any I have ever been involved with. I was smitten with her smile and her eyes, but very cautious about her sincerity. As a typical Gemini, she was in and out of the relationship, leaving me to lick my wounds each time. Being a lion-heart I chased her down and when I caught her she made it clear that she wanted children and a settled life with me. We moved in together, but unfortunately, I was still hurt and insecure from her former indecisiveness that I did not completely break off my ties with people I had met during our time apart. She found out and (of course) left. After much thought and discussion, we both made the decision that we loved each other enough to put the necessary effort into our relationship without insecurity or hesitation. I asked her to marry me, and she accepted. Living with her was like being with 4 different people, under one roof. Her constant battle with boredom and her insatiable desire for freedom, made it extremely difficult to know or feel if this relationship was of any importance to her…or was it just another one of her many “projects”. I felt so ostracized and lonely under my own roof. Maybe it is a Leo thing, but I was definitely not the king of my domain, and neither did I have a full-time queen. God knows I treated her like one: trips to Aruba, shopping for shoes/purses on my own for her, spending time with her family and friends, making absolute passionate love to her, house shopping etc. Well, she’s gone again and of course I chased. But this time, it was different. The Leo can only take so much of this childishness, as we take commitment and love very seriously. Yes, we had petty arguments but this “leaving the scene” !@#$ is intolerable. We’ve spoken since and basically she has told me that she is conflicted and scared to love me so deeply because I will only hurt her. Communication has been cut off and we are moving on. I guess what I wanted to know is whether this is futile, or another mood swing? I love this girl with all of my heart, otherwise I would never have asked for her hand in marriage. I'm flying this summer on Delta from Aruba to Amsterdam via Atlanta. I have a 6 hour waiting time before my flight to Amsterdam. I had this dream on Friday and its been really bothering me. here it goes: My family went on vacation to some tropical island (i think it was Aruba). At the dinner that night, there was a nice very friendly waitress and my dad couldnt stop looking at her. My mom was obviously upset, and everyone else was sorta awkard. My dad went out that night and didn't come back until the morning, and his tie was loose and he lost his suit jacket. There was a little shop with all knick knacks and randomly i was playing with a toy car. There was a barbie in glass in the middle of the knick knacks. suddenly , the waitress started throwing rocks at me, and my dad didn't do anything but my mom started crying, and my brothers ( i have 3) started throwing some knick knacks at her. Then we were suddenly in a pool inside with alot of twist & turns. My brothers and my dad were there but not my mom. And then I woke up. i dont understand because from what i can tell my parents relationship is pretty stable. .. can some one please explain this? Once a need is filled, there's always another need popping up. Then, there's want, which is different than need. We can't live without food, but we can live without ice cream. We can want the most expencive , but we don't need it to live. It's the act of buying that can make us feel happy, but it's never completely fulfilling. If it was, then there'd be a lot of companies closing up shop because everyone had all they needed or wanted. The thing with money is, it eventually runs out. What if money COULD buy happiness but some of the rich people just were not making that particular purchase. My feeling is that while money does not buy happiness, it DOES buy opportunity. Resolved Question: Anyone went/going away this summer

I'm leaving the country going to Aruba this sunday for a 2 week stay. I have timeshare in Marriot surf club there. I've been to aruba 5 times before. But this will be my first year with the timeshare we just bought that last year. I've done snorkling, banana boat, i went to hooters there, a few dance clubs, i've rented a jeep to go around Aruba visit a zoo, went shopping, never gambled yet though (im 15), i've tanned insanely too much. i've done everything there. What should i do for these 2 weeks? do you think 2 weeks will be too much and boring? What else do i do? BTW please don't mention the natalie holloway BS. It was the 1st and last crime thing that happend in Aruba. It's not like where you live there is no crime so don't act like an idiot and say "ohh no you're going to aruba, i wouldn't go there i woudln't want my daughter/sister to be kidnapped". If you don't go there fine, 1 less idiot in Aruba will only help it not hurt it. more

I have finally chose Barbados over Aruba, but have done minimall research on places to stay in Barbados. I was lookinng at the Crane resort (which has a white-pink sand beach, right?) but didn't know if there was any shopping/restaurants nearby. I am looking for a hotel near a beautiful, tropical beach with water that's not too rough and close access to some shopping/restaurants. it all started while i was doing a housesitting job for this lady. i invited a few of my bud's over and they brought some beer. my idiot friend chad got drunk and threw up all over the ladies sofa. i tried to clean it up but the spot just got bigger. i knew i had to get a pro to clean the sofa but i dont get paid till friday night after work. the lady and her sister are due back from aruba on monday. nobody works in my small town over the weekend so i had to get the cash. i found a chest of silverware in the china cabinet and decided to hock it at daves pawn shop and get it back out on sat after i got paid. this worked as planned, except when i showed up for work on friday, the dude that owns the janitorial company that i worked for had closed up and skipped town. (legal problems) the lady came back and never missed the silverware. today i was at home when two guys started banging on the door. scared it was the cops, over the silverware, i hauled @ss out the back door (continued )i jumped the fence into the neighbors yard and landed on old mrs. stiles who was working in the garden. she started screaming so i ran even faster. turns out the guys at the door were selling magazines and mrs stiles has a broken ankle, she didnt call the cops but she called my mom and wants to sue us. my dad (a deputy sheriff) is angry and wants to kick my @ss, says iam a disgrace to the family and what he stands for.( the lady missed the silverware too) iam hiding out at a friends house. what do i do more

Beginning planning vaca for 2010. Will me me, hub, daughter will be 15 then and maybe a cousin same age. Want to go on school break either around Thanksgiving, Christmas or spring, and somewhere WARM. What's important: clean place, prefer all-inclusive, nice sandy beaches, not that rocky shore like you see in parts of Mexico, water activities, small ticket shopping-souvenirs etc, not thru the roof expensive, family oriented place, not a wild banshee spring break place. What's not important: nightlife, spa services, room service, historical ruins, rum distilleries, hardcore hiking etc. Hub won't cruise--daughter and I just returned from our first cruise and loved it but now we need to plan a family vacation. I hear Hawaii is too expensive, Bahamas are for the rich also. Jamaica was nice for a day, wouldn't want to stay there longer. Liked Cozumel except for the rocky shore. Aruba is super windy. Don't know much about FL except for Orlando and Daytona. Suggestions? Thanks!Costa Rica man you sound like my brother! He's always trying to talk me into CR too.
