Hello, I live in Ohio, and my fiance wanted to get married in Dec. this year and we are trying to find a good deal on at least a five night stay somewhere, warm. We are on a 3000 dollar budget. My fiance wants to go out of the U.S. but im not picky. He wants aruba, but does anyone know of a good resort in aruba? Or another place thats warm that we can have an all inclusive trip? He wanted a winter wedding but wants to go somewhere warm or hot, go figure. and we need airfare included. Thank you moreResolved Question: What is the best all inclusive to stay at in Aruba?
We're going to Aruba for our honeymoon and are looking for the best place to stay for the best price! We are thinking the Occidental Grand Aruba... it has mixed reviews but we could get a great deal! Has anyone been there? moreVoting Question: My Husband Never Does Anything I Want to Do?
My husband and I have been married for a little less than a year now, and he NEVER does anything I want to. I know that never is a strong word, but in this case it's true. He promises and promises that he will do something I want to, and at the last minute he guilt trips me so that we don't go. For example, we live right next to the beach. For a month or so, I have been asking if we can go. He kept saying he would take me, then he never does. Finally, I convinced him that we should go today and he promised all weekend that we would. When I tried to get him up this morning, he said "if it were really an issue of spending time together, you and I could just stay home and I wouldn't play my video games" when I looked disappointed he said "see, it has nothing to do with wanting to be with me...you just want to do something for yourself". I think that statement is really unfair because since we've been together we've always done what he wants to do when he wants to do it. We spend every day (even weekends) sitting at home in separate rooms...he plays video games ALL DAY with his friends and chats to them online while I sit in the other room and read or watch movies. If I make a friend and want to go somewhere with them, he gets all worked up and yells at me for not inviting him (even though if I do invite him he complains that he has to go and makes the whole evening so awkward that my friends don't want to talk to me anymore). I am going COMPLETELY crazy! I am a very active person, I LOVE being outside, and for the past year I haven't gotten to enjoy myself at all. When we were dating, we did things together all the time, so I am only expecting him to be the man I thought he was. I don't know what to do anymore. He refuses to make any concessions to me and just give me something that I want for once. I don't nag him about things, but if I ask him to do ANYTHING he says I am nagging...no matter how nicely I ask it. On our honeymoon, he spent the entire trip (we were in Aruba for crying out loud) sitting in our hotel room playing video games....he refused to even go down to the pool. I'm so sick of it, and now I AM turning into the stereotypical nagging wife because that's the only way I can get him to do something. I don't want to be this way...any advice on what I can do to get him to go places with me...even every once in a while? moreResolved Question: do you still have a shower or receive gifts with a destination wedding?
My mother died when I was in high school, so I have no one to help me plan a wedding, and my fiance and I are in college and don't have the money for a wedding and honeymoon, so we have decided to have a destination wedding somewhere like mexico, aruba, dominican republic, etc. We are thinking it may just be us to...there is a small chance we would invite immediate family and grandparents, but we are leaning more towards just us for the money aspect (my dad cannot help us with anything financially). My question is, since I won't be having a big, everyone's invited church wedding, will people still throw me wedding showers? Will I still get gifts even though people know its a destination wedding not many will be at? moreResolved Question: What questions should I ask a travel agent?
My girlfriend and I are getting married in Oct. this year and are planning our honeymoon to go to Aruba. I met this travel agent several months ago after transporting her to a test in the hospital where I work and she gave me her information and all which I still have. So her recommendation was Aruba since it's off the hurricane belt. We want an "all inclusive" package. Want sort of questions should I ask her when I call her? Would it be indecent to ask her for a little discount since I sort of took care of her? I'm only asking for suggestions since I, evidently, never dealt with travel planning and such. moreResolved Question: A few baby name questions?
1.When you're 24 you get married. While on your honeymoon in Aruba, you get pregnant. You find out you're pregnant with twin girls! What do you name them? 2.When the twins are 4 you get pregnant again, this time with a girl. What do you name her? 3.When the twins are 7 and your other daughter is 3, you try to conceive again, but have a miscarriage. You go to the doctor, just to find out that you aren't able to get pregnant again, but you feel your family still isn't complete, so you decide to adopt. How many kids, of what gender, at what age, and from what country do you adopt from? 4.Now the twins are older and it is time for them to have grandchildren. One of them gets married and pregnant at age 23 with quadruplets. (2 boys and 2 girls) What are their names and which twin is their mother? 5. The other twin gets pregnant at age 24 with a boy, then at age 25 with boy/girl twins. What are each of their names and who is their mother? My Answers: 1. Peyton Marie and Rebecca Grace 2. Elena Abigail 3. 1 boy and 1 girl from the USA at age 3. Named Cassandra (Cassie) Lynne and Mason Cole. 4. Rebecca is the mother of Ethan Alexander, Aiden Zachary, Jordan Paige, and Marina Claire. 5. A small vessel carrying nine passengers was approaching a deserted island. Linda, a mother, was once a teacher until she married and had a baby, Kyle. She is a pleasant woman who enjoys making new friends. Normally, she would love this trip, but her marriage counselor insisted on it. However, the marriage counselor did not know that the ship would sink, forcing Linda and the other 8 passengers to decide which 5 of them should go in the lifeboat. She was chosen because she had a family and so she could take care of Kyle. Kyle loves receiving lots of affection from his parents. It makes him smile and makes him happy. But now, everyone around him was in a panic. He became worried. His parents tried to soothe him, but he knew something was wrong. Joseph, husband of Judy, is a doctor. Although he was diagnosed with ADHD at an early age, he has saved hundreds of lives. He has a friendly attitude, and cooperates with others well. Joseph met Judy through an online dating service. This was supposed to be their first honeymoon. Gordon, a chef and the father of Kyle, was the next one to get on the raft. He was a TV star, since he had his own show. His attitude and personality is akin to Simon Cowell’s. His marriage counselor recommended the trip, but he had to miss a very important business meeting to go. If it wasn’t for his cooking skills, he would be on the sinking ship. Judy is a lawyer and Joseph’s wife. She was the last occupant chosen to be on the lifeboat because she was the only one with a cell phone. She called 911 before the raft entered a dead zone. She notified the operator of their current location, off the coast of Aruba. They came as soon as they could, and rescued the policeman, priest, teacher, and professional athlete who were still on the sinking ship. After they got back to land safely, the helicopter came for them. Judy was their hero. moreResolved Question: What are the best activities to do in Aruba?

I want feedback from people that have actually been there and can address my specific questions! moreResolved Question: What hotel should I stay at for my honeymoon to Aruba?
My fiancee and I are planning our honeymoon towards the end of October this year to Aruba. I've been looking through many posts on yahoo answers, tripadvisor.com, and even talked to a few people. I really just wanted to find some good advice about what hotel would be the best for what we are looking for... We aren't really big into the gambling aspects and hear the beaches are better and more quiet and romantic at Eagle rather than Palm, so we were kind of leaning towards a hotel on the Eagle beach. We don't really want something that's going to cost us an arm and a leg but we want something semi nice still. Wasn't sure either if all inclusive would be the way to go or not. Some of the places like Bucuti beach doesn't offer that and didn't know if we should look for ones that do or if the cost would still even out even if we eat out. How expensive is it to eat out all the time there? I know we wanted to go out and eat a few times at least when we are there so I wasn't sure what I should expect price-wise. Just wanted to see if anyone had some tips and advice for where we should stay, thank you! moreTop Aruba Honeymoons Links
