Resolved Question: Divi Aruba All Inclusive Questions?
Hi, Im going to the Divi Aruba all inclusive resort in a few weeks and i have some questions about the resort. Please help! 1. From best to worst, the restaurants? 2. Is there a teen club? 3. What activities would you reccomend? 4. Are some of the rooms really that nasty? (says so in reviews) 5. What restaurants are hardest to reserve? 6. How is the staff? 7. Is check- in long? 8. I have an opportunity to go to Aruba later this year and the package available to me has some specific hotel choices. These are my final two choices for the second half of my vacation(I will be spending a few days in a high rise as part of the package as well). Would you recommend the Divi Aruba All Inclusive or the Divi Village Golf and Beach Resort and why? Please stick to these two choices as I have already researched the other possibilities and have found these two to best fit my needs. moreResolved Question: where should i go on our honeymoon?

I am about to book a trip to the Riu Palace Resort in Aruba. It claims to be an all inclusive resort, all meals and drinks included. Should I be skeptical or is this common practice? moreResolved Question: Best Hotel Resort in Aruba?
I prefer an all-inclusive. THANK YOU. moreResolved Question: Have you been to Montego Bay, Jamaica?
And if so, what did you think of their beaches/ocean? I have been to Jamaica 2x and stayed in Ocho Rios and the ocean both times (once in Jan and another time at the end of March beg of April), the ocean was not blue, more of a brown/blue (a little muddy), definitely not clear. Water activities got canceled a few times. My girlfriend and her husband went to Montego Bay in Feb and the same thing happened to her. My cousin along with a bunch of other couples and myself and husband want to try Jamaica again (at the Secrets Wild Orchid resort, it's opening in March) because I've been elsewhere (Bahamas, Aruba and Mexico) and Jamaica is most fun and affordable for all. If the ocean is not going to be nice, I don't want to risk it again. Okay so within a month I am going to Aruba with one of my friends. We are both paying for the all inclusive price. However another friend wanted to go.. and it would be free for her to room in out room but she just needs to pay for the airplane tickets. It would be free if she didnt want to pay for the all inclusive. I have never been to an all inclusive resort.. I was curious would it be easy for me and my friend that are paying all inclusive to sneak our other friend if she chooses to go.. like sneak her drinks and stuff. I know it would be hard going out to eat we couldent but I dont see how they would notice if we give her drinks. That way she just has to buy food once in a while.. and maybe we can even sneak her food too by brining it back to the room. I was wondering how does this work. And how do they differentate al inclusive people from the non. We are going to the holiday inn sunspree resort in Aruba. Please I dont really care if its not legal. I just want to here advise from those who have actually gone to an all inclsuive resort. How is it differentaited between non inclusive guests and inclusive guests. And do you think it is possible. moreResolved Question: Honeymoon in Fiji or Aruba?

Can someone tell me a bit more or offer me some advice on where to honeymoon in July?
I am planning a honeymoon for July. I am stuck between Aruba, Key West Florida, California, or Jamaica. Basically I don't want to go anywhere that is 150 degrees, being that it's July. I want some stuff to do (nothing crazy, but i dont want to be bored or lay on the beach EVERY day). I want nice warm water. I want a nice room and I am leaning more towards all inclusive. I don't want to be on a plane for 5-6 hours either. I'd be flying out of Newark or Philly. Any recommendations, resorts you've been at that are reasonably priced!? moreResolved Question: Adult all-inclusives, which is the best?
I've been too several of the Caribbean islands & Mexico (Aruba, St. Lucia, Bermuda, Punta Cana, Santo Domingo, Cozumel, Cancun, Playa Del Carmen) & have always stayed at all inclusive resorts & love them; particularly the adult only ones. It is our way to travel. I'm looking for something newer & upscale in the Caribbean, heard Mexico is not safe right now for travel. Don't want to do a repeat of an island we've already been too. We are a quieter couple & don't do the nite club scene, however we do enjoy a show or entertainment in the evening. Can anyone recommend somewhere they been? Even if it isn't an adult only all inclusive, any all inclusive suggestions would be appreciated. Been all over tripadvisor.com & nothing grabs my attention. Thanks for your input. Please do not suggest anywhere in Jamaica as this is not for us. Thank you. moreResolved Question: Tamarijn Resort, Aruba?

The vacation will be my sister and I so Sandals and those couples resorts are not an option. We also want ADULTS ONLY. I want to go somewhere I have never been, so the following locations would be out: Jamaica, Dominican Republic, Bahamas, Mexico.... Although, Mexico is a possibility since I have only been there for one day as an excusion while on a cruise. CRUISES ARE DEFINITELY OUT AS WELL. I would love to try St. Marteen, USVI, Puerto Rico, Aruba, etc. I dont not want to spend more than $1500 per person for air fare, hotel and drinks/food (all inclusive) for 7 days. THANKS~ moreResolved Question: Luxury Hotel in Aruba in October..?
Hi everyone, I need help choosing a hotel in Aruba. My brother is getting married there in October. He and his fiancé have been there and are having their wedding at the Divi Aruba. I have never been there – so I am torn as to where to stay. He likes the more Americanized atmosphere – where I like more authentic eateries and what have you. So he is fine doing an all-inclusive at the resort and eating the bad resort food…where I would opt for more traditional, whole in the wall places over that any day of the week…hope that makes sense?? I’m not a snob – I can just appreciate authentic food more than him. So I am trying to find a luxury hotel in Aruba – not all-inclusive. Any suggestions? BTW – I’m 30 and my boyfriend is 42. He is leaving the planning up to me since it is my brother’s wedding. Help!! Any suggestions are welcomed… (and restaurant suggestions too) Thanks!Or what hotel is better - Hyatt or Renaissance Aruba? moreResolved Question: All Inclusive destinations besides Mexico and the Caribbean???
I'm looking to travel to an all-inclusive resort anywhere from 7-14 days. A little reward for getting accepted into ASU and doing well in college. I'm probably going to go in October, the Dominican Republic is very cheap(found a 14 day all inclusive for 1200!) Anyways I've been to Mexico, Jamaica and Aruba. I want something a little more exotic, where kids my age(21) will be. I know in October there will not be hardly any, but where are the places w/ the best odds of meeting kids my age. Is there all inclusive resorts in Africa? Asia? Australia? Also any tips on finding cheap travel please let me know. moreResolved Question: Can you assist in my Honeymoon research?
10pts for person who give me a recommendation that i will consider. I am getting married in late October and my future husband and I are looking into having our honeymoon at a Sandals resort. We are looking to stay 7 days. Do you have any recommendations for which Sandals resorts are best in October? I worry most about it being hurricane season. We aren't the "clubbing" type but do enjoy to dance, especially to live music. We are mainly looking for a nice, peaceful beach location with options for adventure. As much as we'd like to sit back and relax, we also love to DO stuff too. Currently I'm looking at Regency St. Lucia and Antigua.... but then I'm always open to something different such as Bermuda, Bora Bora or Aruba. It doesn't have to be a Sandals resort, but I would like something all-inclusive. Thanks in advance! moreResolved Question: What is the most ideal location for 4 21 year old males to travel to in the Caribbean or Mexico?

Some places I've thought about: Jamaica, Aruba, St. Thomas. We have a week to spend. I'm looking for a place with a nice beach, and a place where we can explore around the town for a couple days. I'd rather not spend the whole time inside a resort so I don't an all inclusive place is what I'm looking for. We are looking to go the second week in August and spend less than $2000 Also, I'd like to go to one of those Jungle tours where you ride the zip line through the trees. Suggestions please moreResolved Question: Caribbean Vacation/Travel Suggestions for Young Couple? First Timers..?
We're a young couple interested in going to the Caribbean for the first time in July or August, for about a week or so. We're budget concious but are happy spoiling ourselves if the reward is worth the expense. We're not much into the party scene anymore (been there done that, trust me!) so we're looking for something more on the notion of romantic and relaxing with a twist of fun or perhaps extreme sports. I have free flight credits from JetBlue so we're interested in using those and going to somewhere JetBlue flies: Aruba, The Bahamas (Nassau), Dominican Republic (Santiago, Santo Domingo), or Puerto Rico (San Juan, Aguadilla, Ponce). We do drink and can rack up some outstanding bar tabs so an all-inclusive may be a good idea for us but we have no real experience with that either. Any suggestions on where to travel to (island/country)? Or even more specific as to actual hotel/resort? Thank you! moreResolved Question: I might book with a Riu all-inclusive resort in either Aruba or Cabo for honeymoon. Anyone with comments?
moreResolved Question: Caribbean vacation?
I am looking for some recommendations on places to vacation in the Caribbean. I know there are a ton of islands to choose from but I would like some recommendations from people that have been there. I am looking for the following: 1. Nice beaches that aren't too crowded (will be going in June of this year) 2. A place that offers other activities besides hanging out at the beach. (i.e. hiking, biking, cultural activities) 3. Something that is geared more towards couples. I have looked at Aruba, St. Lucia and Barbados. Aruba seems a little too 'resort' oriented but the beaches look really nice along with the turquoise water. I am also pondering Belize and wonder if anyone has been there. If you have any hotel recommendations that would be appreciated too. I am thinking about All-Inclusive but have heard some bad things about that. I like the fact that the drinks are included but I don't like the fact that we would be limited to eating at specific places. Thanks! moreResolved Question: All inclusive resort in Aruba?
I would like to stay at an all inclusive resort in Aruba. I would like to stay in a villa, not a high rise building. Anyone have any suggestions? Preferrably a newer 5 star or close to it...
