Resolved Question: why do i keep getting pimples on my forehead?

im 26 years old now and have pretty clear skin, except my stupid forehead. i keep getting pimples. it really only started since i have moved to NYC. my mattress is not very new but it is my own and i have a zipper cover on it. i just bought new pillows and i have resorted to sleeping on a towel constantly, which helps, but i still get a pimple here and there and only really on my forehead. i sleep in my bed sometimes and feel itchy so i have no idea what that is all about. i change my sheets and wash everything in hot water at least once a week. i go away a lot and everytime i travel my forehead clears up and i get no pimples but once i come back to the city, they are back with in a few days so it is definitely something in my apt and not my diet, etc. i wash my comforter also and i guess i could buy a new one but my next step is to spend 1000 dollars on a new mattress to see if that fixes it. very frustrated. please help.. i also clean and vacuum my apt quite often and have also purchased an air purifier, which again has helped a little but i still get random pimples again, but only on my forehead.i dont have bangs and its definitely not the weatheri also shower every night before i go to bed and shower before work in the morning. i wash my face one time after work, and go to the gym right after. i am convinced i have either crazy dust mites or bed bugs. more

Resolved Question: need help in correcting my Classification essay?

Airline travel class People travel different places around the globe every year by air and in different reservation class. When passengers start to plan their journey they have to buy airline tickets, but when passengers are booking their airline tickets the agents never explain the difference. So it is very important to understand different class of travel through air in order to take the advantage. There are three different class of reservation which are Economy class, Business class and First class. First of all, Economy class which is also called as coach class. The fares are cheaper but have more restrictions. The seats are usually like train seats, sometime it comes with fold out tray for food or with music player. The quality of the food varies depending on various factors. Though it offers the cheapest fares and comes with much more restrictions still it is very popular among middle class people who don’t have more money to spend. Further more, Business class also known as executive class or upper class. Business class is a high quality second tier travel class. Mostly people from big corporations prefer travelling through this class. The seats are much bigger and can recline up to 160 degree. There is an inbuilt LCD TV for movies and sometime it comes with an internet connection. The food is of high quality and sometime passengers can order their preferred meal. Business class doesn’t have restrictions like economy class. If a passenger decides to cancel their journey they can get the whole amount back. This class of travel is mostly famous and is also getting popular in leisure travel. Finally, First class is a luxury travel class which is much better then business class. Few of the airlines offer this class of travel because of limited amount of seats located in front of the aircraft. The seats are reclining with more leg room. Sometime passengers have their own cabin with fully furnished workstations and TV for entertainment. The food is same as business class but it comes with other goodies like travelling kit, shaving kit, and neck pillow or blanket. First class passengers get to board the aircraft before business or economy class passengers and when the journey is completed they get limousine car ride to their destination. First class travel is mostly preferred by politicians, sportsman and actors who can afford to spend $10,000 on a ticket. People are traveling more then every before around the globe in different class. So next times when you travel make sure you check class of travel airline has to offer. This will help you to decide between different class of travel and it will save you time and money more

Voting Question: What do you think of my writing?

I am participating in NaNoWriMo this year and am really anxious.I love to write and have always dreamed of being a published author some day. This is the beginning of my story and I would love to know what other people think. What can I improve on? Is it even good to start with, or should I just start over? I'd really appreciate some honest feedback. ******************* Casey dragged herself up from the grassy hill as a second clap of thunder rumbled all around her. The sky was quickly growing darker, winds gusting and the once white clouds now pregnant with rain. How long had she been lying staring up at the rolling clouds, her mind wandering in circles about the upcoming events? Marriage, a new baby; everything was about to change. She smiled to herself and rubbed her stomach absently, her feet following the path as the first drops of rain began to fall. There was a chill in the air as a droplet slid down her neck and along her spine, causing her to shiver. A gust of wind blew her dark curls around her flushed cheeks and across her eyes obscuring her vision. Wiping the hair from her brow as the rain began a steady pace, she felt another chill rise within her; one that had nothing to do with the weather. A flash of lightning illuminated the darkening path before her and she froze in her steps, a scream caught in her throat. Her eyes were wide with horror as they took in what was blocking the trail that led to her home. Her home, that she shared with her husband and was preparing for their daughter. She knew in that moment she would never see her home or her husband again; these were her last moments. Her lids fluttered lightly as she slept and Donovan, watched her carefully, the rise and fall of her chest steady as the rain pounding on the roof of his home. She'd lost a lot of blood, her skin still held a chalky pallor, but she would live. He would have left her there on the forest floor for others to find, but noticed she was with child and thought of Arienne instantly. Was it foolish of him to take in the young woman without informing anyone of her whereabouts? Of course it was, but he couldn't just leave her there to die. A rustle of blankets turned his attention toward her bedside and he was surprised to see her awake, her eyes squinting at the bright lights. She looked around for a moment, trying to place her surroundings and when she focused her eyes on him, she startled and flinched back into the pillows on the bed. She jerked the covers flush to her body, as if they could create a barrier between her and the stranger in the room. Donovan moved slowly, handing her a tall glass of water with a straw in it, not wanting to startle her. He gave a soft smile, the feeling of which was foreign to his face and he knew it would seem forced. It was. He hadn't smiled in years and doing so now, was only to gain the woman's trust. She just sat there and stared, her eyes traveling from his to the glass of liquid and back again. Questions filled her eyes and she opened her mouth to speak, then closed it again, eying him warily. Slowly, she extended a hand toward the water and pulled it back to her lips. Sipping the liquid slowly, she peered over the edge of the glass at him, the silence becoming unbearable. more

Resolved Question: What can I do for my dog?

I have two eight month old puppies. One loves the car and likes to have her head stuck out the window. The other is the complete opposite. She constantly drools in the car. The most she has ever traveled in the car was about 15 minutes. But today, she was in the car a bit longer and she threw up. I recently tried giving her some water just before we drive and just after, and it helped a bit, but not much. I was wondering if there is any way to help my dog get over car sickness. Any tips, anything I can buy for her. I always leave the windows down slightly to give them both plenty of air, I leave them with teddies, blankets and pillows to make them more comfortable and feel more at home. But none of it works for her. Please help. more

Resolved Question: would u read and critique my book plz!?

My book is about a 16 year old girl named stella who has a brain tumor and stage 4 cancer. she falls in love with her vampie doctor dimitri mattionelli. read plz! then help me choose 5 names for my 5 book series!- He smiled. Blood covered his teeth; he sealed his lips shut as he remembered his little operation. I wrapped my hands over my mouth again and shook my head violently as the image glued itself in my head. That was what I would look like, I thought, as I ran into my room to get away from the iron-salt smell. I climbed up into my bed, curling in a ball and flinging the covers over my head, wrapping myself into a protective cocoon. “I want to go home!” I yelled, making sure the vampires could hear me. “You can’t,” a velvet voice whispered into my ear, “I haven’t cured you yet. Now, go to sleep.” I shuddered with surprise, unwrapping my protective quilt to look for him. No one was there. I fell into deep sleep, feeling someone watching. I was running. The wind whipped my hair into my face, getting it sticky in my chap-stick. I brushed it back, laughing at my freedom. I had a beautiful, smooth, bright pale skin, not my usual creamy pale. I wore an elbow length black sweater and my favorite pair of purple skinny jeans. I was running through an open field, no sign of civilization anywhere. The long, coarse prairie grasses scratched against my bare feet, but left no cuts. I laughed with joy again; I was traveling faster than the speed of light. The air was warm. I felt hot in my cable knit sweater. I sped up, eager to have more wind on my face. I smelled prairie hens; I rushed towards to scent, eager for something to sooth my suddenly burning throat. “You’re hungry,” a soft voice said. I looked to my right; Dimitri stood there, holding my hand and running at my impatient pace. That’s when I shot up from the covers, my breathing unstable and my heart racing. I looked around the hospital room. No one was there. I flopped back onto my pillow, angry for dreaming about him. Was it the brain tumor? I didn’t care; if I was going to have dreams about vampires, I would refuse to sleep. Eventually, I caved in, having dreams about drinking blood, grabbing innocent people and dragging them into my trap. I was like a spider; trapping innocent flies and moths in my web and sucking the blood out of their bodies. Isn’t that all I would want? Blood, blood, and more blood? What eye color would I have? I only thought of one person who might know. Dimitri. I gingerly unwrapped the thick quilt from my frail, bloated body, and walked into the hall. The gurney was gone. I tumbled over as the terrible stomach pain took over me. I pushed myself up from the ground and rushed to the bathroom in my room. I flicked the light on, heading for the sink. I leaned over and vomited into the sink. Stupid nurse, I thought. She gave me rancid ranch or salad or something, because that’s what came back up my throat. Chip-chip-chip. I looked to my right; a little, brown, speckled bird was standing on the white marble counter, hopping up and down like a kid waiting for the ice cream truck. I rinsed out my mouth, watching the bird out of the corner of my eye. He stood there, waiting for me to finish. It’s left wing looked broken; it couldn’t fly and chirruped in pain when he flapped it. I gently cupped my hands around it, allowing it to make a nest in my hands. It sat, fluffing his feathers. I stalked back out into my room, my white nightgown flowing out behind my. I probably would scare a kid; I looked like a ghost. I found an empty shoebox under the bed, one that contained the yellow Converse sneakers that Rachelle bought me a long time ago, when I first moved here. I put the box on the pile of paperwork on my bedside table and grabbed a few hand towels out of the pretty, white bathroom. I scrunched the towels up, making them fluffy, and arranged them in the box that had contained size eight-point-five shoes and laid the little bird in the middle. I opened up my second story window, ripping some leaves off the trees to lay in the box. I got a few handfuls, picking up part of my gown to hold them in, and walked back to the table. I dumped the dark green leaves into the box. The little bird snuggled up instantly, using it’s good wing to gather some nearby leaves. I climbed up into my bed, exhausted. I fell asleep after awhile, not wanting to dream. My wish came true; I had dreamless sleep for the last hours of the night. Ok- here are the names- Kiss Of Death Silver Hunted Broken Roller coaster (the prologue says- My life is like a roller coaster, going up, down, backward, forward. After awhile, you lose the pattern and you get lost. I’m lost.) Resolved Question: Need help interpreting poem?

need to reveal literal and metaphorical meanings Storm Warnings The glass has been falling all the afternoon, And knowing better than the instrument What winds are walking overhead, what zone Of grey unrest is moving across the land, I leave the book upon a pillowed chair And walk from window to closed window, watching Boughs strain against the sky And think again, as often when the air Moves inward toward a silent core of waiting, How with a single purpose time has traveled By secret currents of the undiscerned Into this polar realm. Weather abroad And weather in the heart alike come on Regardless of prediction. Between foreseeing and averting change Lies all the mastery of elements Which clocks and weatherglasses cannot alter. Time in the hand is not control of time, Nor shattered fragments of an instrument A proof against the wind; the wind will rise, We can only close the shutters. I draw the curtains as the sky goes black And set a match to candles sheathed in glass Against the keyhole draught, the insistent whine Of weather through the unsealed aperture. This is our sole defense against the season; These are the things we have learned to do Who live in troubled regions. -Adrienne Rich more

Resolved Question: Any thoughts on these questions?

What would a turtle without a shell look like? Wouldn't it be REALLY creepy to see a newborn baby walk? How important does a person have to be before their homicide is considered an assassination rather than a murder? Where is it stated in the nursery rhyme that Humpty Dumpty was an egg? Did Adam and Eve have belly buttons? I know being a dumb ass is being bad but how is it fair that being a smart ass is bad too? Who first looked at a mop and decided to call it a mop? MOP. Really? Why do they put a pillow on the lethal injection table? If you were to travel in a rocket parallel to the ground (but still in the air) completely uninhibited by trees, buildings, etc. would you eventually reach the point where the earth curves enough for you to break through the atmosphere? Gravity doesn't pull things down as much as it pulls things in. And to answer some other questions.. they dont make planes out of the black box material because itd be too heavy to fly. its called rush hour because everyone is rushing home, hence the reason everyone ends up going slow. minute rice never states it takes only one minute to cook. it would then be called one minute rice. therefore it is perfectly reasonable that it takes 5 minutes to cook. more

Resolved Question: Travel regulations from US to Germany.?

Ok, I have a few questions, actually... Background: I am flying from Pittsburgh to Chicago with American Airlines. Then I will be flying from Chicago to Frankfurt with Air India. I booked both flights at the same time through a travel site, and so are part of the same itinerary. FYI, I've looked at the websites of each airline I am using, but I don't know if one takes precedent over the other; I'm just checking to see if anyone can make what the airlines/government say less confusing. American Airlines says there is no charge for two checked bags for international flights. Will this apply to me, even though my trip with AA will be domestic? Or will I have to pay the $15/$25 fees for two bags? I wanted to take a carry-on bag and as a personal item have a pillow with a blanket inside, wrapped around the pillow. Will this personal item be allowed on both airlines? Air India's website mentioned nothing about personal items (that I could find anyway). At what point will I go through customs on my trip? Do they charge for you to go through customs? I found a chart saying how much % they will charge for specific items, but it did not say if this applied to everyone or just to businesses bringing in goods to be sold... (I just don't want to be taxed for taking my digital camera and laptop, lol.) Thank you for your help! more

Resolved Question: Is it true its best to lay on stomach after sex if you have a tilted uterus? ?

I am TTC, and have heard several different things.. Some people told me to place a pillow under my butt, and not get up for about 20 minutes after sex. I have also been told to stick your legs in the air and do the "bicycle" motion exercise after sex. Recently, I've read that if you have a tilted uterus (which I do!) that the sperm has to travel in a different direction, so its best to lay on your stomach for atleast 20 minutes after sex... Is there truth to any of these statements? more

Beautiful Day Sleep still whispering in your pillow muffled ear You step outside and watch flowers blooming The little red robins that fly from the tree And the chicks hopping down after them The first carnation popping off from the ground Its scent finally touching the air The smell of newly found grasses The calm gentle breeze of the morning The dew of the day still dropping out thin That scent of the rain is still there Purity settles in as the day seems a new year And throughout that day, whatever you do You get the power as you step outside Stepping out in that year anew Midnight Island Desert walk, midnight island Wind howling against your side Gusts cross your face in a gentle pattern Stop and feel the earth breathing That bit of moonlight, giving hope in the cloudy sky Or the shifty cloud, dampening the lightly lit heavens A leaf floating gently, It gusts once more Blanket of pure love falls to the ground A light dusting of velvet crisp A familiar feeling, a gust picks up scent Playing its waltz beautifully on your face You lay in the grass and think once more And look up at the moonlight, watching for the sounds of the sky Tony Merson You hear a smash as you run through the door You see a family, you wish you could say more They are at a bedside praying for a person On whose bed may have said Merson You struggle past the second door Trying desperately to get out of a fires core As you blast past the door In which you hoped to see more The fire comes out of the door marked person The door that you swore you saw Merson As you look around you see the emergency door And as it comes closer you see more Of the room in the room marked person Behind which held Merson Tables turned over, shingles and drawers And then those great, golden doors As you burst through you awaken, in person Your bed, in fact, is adorned with Merson With pictures lying around, fire in core You see a family photo, fused on your door Unseen Struggle Mara travels an uneven path, The likes of which I've seen. Takes the form of wholesome women With shapely curves in between Figments of imagination, Augmented truths for all Within wary ways, I follow him To desire and pain, I shall fall I practice quick to catch my step But something odd that you will find Physically chase the demon, I have not Because the de*** Mara is in my mind. Resolved Question: -Extreme Nightmare- Family, Friends, Rage, & Abandonment.?

If anyone can interrupted this for me, thank you. The nightmare/dream began in a forest. Everything felt like it was moving and awkward. My little brother came toward me with his bike. He was wearing a white large helmet which looked like a cheesy old school looking helmet. I grabbed the helmet and tossed it up in the air. Moments later I was laying in the basement of my father’s parents home. My brother was there with his friends. All of them wanted me to come outside and play with them. I resisted. My brother then told me that I lost his helmet. I felt a little bad about throwing it up in the air. He told me it was lost in the woods. My younger sister then appears, and she goes outside with him to look for it. While my brother, his friends, and my sister are outside looking I watch from a window. In the home I heard footsteps coming from upstairs to the basement. It was my mother. I then ran over to a couch which was missing cushions. The couch had a tan blanket and light blue pillow. I lay down on the couch and tried to fake I was sleeping. My mother enters but is not angry. She asks me where they all were. I tell her they are outside looking for my brother’s helmet. My mom could see my brother coming along, he was wearing it. I thought he looked ridiculous, but and another part of me was happy that he found it. Moment later I got a message on my phone. It was from my ex-boyfriend Daniel who I do not talk to anymore. “I’m coming to pick you up” the text message read. Excited, I walked outside wearing a backpack and holding my pillow. First a small black car drove up, it was a illusion, I thought it was him but it was not. Instead of a large black SUV looking vehicle was a black rusted up used small car. Next a large black SUV which looked like Dan’s car pulled up. I got in and oddly sat in the back seat which I’ve never done in his car before. I looked up and realized a man in a dark grey tux was driving. He did not look like Dan. My brother all of a sudden piles up in the car with a bunch of young teenagers his age. I was confused. “Going to practice” - He turns around and tells me. I couldn’t get out, and it was too late. The teenage boys were dressed in soccer uniforms. My brother doesn’t play soccer. We drive to a gym of some sort, it looked modern. I asked my brother what I should do- I was in the wrong place. I asked the driver. He turned over to me and said I would have to pay him to get back. I agreed and sat back in the back seat. A group of people enter the SUV- I rest lying down on my side and rest my head on my light blue pillow. A mother enters and sits at the head of my feet. There were blonde haired and blue eyed boys who took up the rest of the space in the SUV. All the boys were in soccer uniforms. One of the boys decides to lay right in front of me. I felt awkward, uncomfortable, and wanted him to move. I kept asking myself- “Where is your mother?” The young boy was literally lying on my body, like he was comfortable and was using my light blue pillow with me. I call to the woman at the end of my feet to remove him. She does, and I get up and move over to the left window where she was sitting. She says to me, “Thank you.” Sitting there I begin to get impatient, and I start to think Dan is waiting for me in front of my home. I also get worried because I discover I have no cash in my wallet. I then start to think of ways to get this guy money. One way was to take money out of my mother’s purse. Though I felt bad and started to think of other ways. The SUV travels right into a mall and crashes into a juice bar. Out my window I could see large sized raspberries and berries bigger then bowling balls in a wooden barrel. The driver stops, I leap out and run. I felt like I made a easy break. I didn’t have to pay him. The problem was, I was now stuck in the mall. I turned around and saw the driver for one last time- the man’s skin tanned. I was lost, but then ran into my Grandmother- my Father’s Mother. She insisted she couldn’t help me but pointed me in one direction. All of a sudden my best friend Bryan comes across my eye. I ask him where he was off to. He told me he was off to go see a new “children” movie. I was in one location, in front of the theater. I then run into another person I knew, and it was my friend’s mother “Mrs. Vikara”- a woman who was short and is Filipino. Mrs. Vikara was wearing a brown fur-coat. Trying to flaunt the fur-coat she rudely tells me to “go away!” screaming at me. I was confused; this was not the Mrs. Vikara I knew. I then turn around and see Mr. Vikara. He was very tall, fatter, and was wearing a brown leather jacket. He pushes me aside and tells me to leave. I push him back. Mrs. Vikara pulls out pepper spray and starts kicking me. I felt ganged up on. I push Mrs. Vikara down to the floor. People start to yell at me- “How could you push a old woman?” I reply- “I don’t care how old she is- she is attacking me.” I start to kick her in rage. Mr. I start to kick her in rage. Mr. Vikara walks through a crowd toward me. I run around a rectangle railing, Robert Vikara’s niece then appears to my right and starts to yell at me. I yell right in her face and she falls to the floor. I felt like I was some monster in rage. He looks very angry. He pulls out a gun- and I knock it out of his hands. I then take his head and slam it on a metal railing. I notice that I was 5 floors up- I grab him and hold him over the edge. A security guard in the distance is shouting at me to not drop him. It was in slow motion. Then everything reverted back to normal. I felt lost again, Mr. and Mrs. Vikara were gone. I then look to my left at a wall and notice an elevator.Running over to the elevator I stop it before it closes. Inside I see my friend Bryan leaving with his girlfriend Kim’s family. Kim’s family tells Bryan to stay. Kim then says, “Let him go.” Bryan pulls out of the elevator, the doors close. Bryan then tells me I was battling the Vikara’s Doppelgängers. He asks me what he can do. My friend Bryan is dark skinned, family is from Trinidad and he has dreads. Kim and her family were also dark skinned; I had never met her family before but only seen them in pictures. Bryan does not like Kim’s family. It was off, didn’t make sense why he would associate himself with her family. When I saw Kim in the elevator she looked stunning, drop dead gorgeous, she had a glow. Bryan walks with me outside the mall. “Which mall is this?” I ask him. “I’m not sure, let’s look.” I look around, and look up at the mall’s exterior. “Nyack Mall” it read. “Nyack Mall? Where is that?”I then call up Dan, and I was afraid to tell him. After what we had went through- I was afraid to speak with him. I call him. He answers and I ask him. “Dan I’m in trouble- please help me.” I start to spout out the many things I did in the mall and how I got there. I begin to lose breadth. “I know already.” He says and he hangs up.The nightmare ends and I wake up with the same feeling of sorrow and feeling of abandonment. I ran over to my computer and wrote a copy of what I remember from the very visual nightmare. I also looked up “Nyack Mall” on google. The only mall in Nyack is the “Palisades Center Mall” A mall I’ve been to many times my 10+ years living in NY. The mall is huge, one of the largest in the USA and has four floors. I’m also not a violent person. I felt it wasn’t like me to be acting the way I did in the dream. I first off would have helped my brother find his lost bike helmet. I would have got out of the SUV immediately and not sat there for the entire ride. I would have not fought Mr. and Mrs. Vikara and walked away. I wouldn’t have been in so much rage. It’s just not like me.------- Madness Redux: My dreams are very vibrant and in detail. I did not lie. I asked if someone can help interrupt it for me. Your answer was very rude, disrespectful, and not helpful.------ BARB: Thank you I'll take note of what you told me. God bless you also. :)------ Damaeus: Thank you. I'll be waiting for a email from you. more

Resolved Question: What will AIRLINE travel be like in 50 years?

Today I read an article about an airline charging money to use a pillow and a blanket. One day air travelers will look back at today's airline travel and laugh. Things are getting ridiculous. Technologywise and servicewise, what will be the big changes in 50 years? Will 747's still be around in 50 years? What craft will be the norm? What about the accomodations and comfort? What about the time of travel? Many questions rolled up into one question. Would like to hear your views. Thanks!Great answers so far. Lots to think about and consider. SCRAMJET would be unfathomable to a person in, say, the Dark Ages. If you tried to explin the concept/science, you would be considered evil. more

Resolved Question: What do you think of this short chapter out of my book? Im 13 yeaRS old.?

The drive seemed like it was endless. The many hours of travel had them all suffering from lack of sleep, or perhaps the only sleep they managed to get was not at all comfortable. For a pillow, it was either each other- or the strap of their seatbelt, and the chill of the evening breeze had them all huddling for warmth. “So finally the pacrasination stage is over...” Lianne said. Actually proud of herself, or maybe she was just proud of Suzanna for getting off her but for once. They WERE pacrasinating for a long time. In addition, Lianne knew, if it was not for Mrs. Weighther making the preparations. They would have been long too late for a ‘valiant rescue’. Adam, haunted by boredom, turned over on his side uncomfortably and used his arm as a pillow; trying to work out the kinks he had irritating the back of his neck. Suzanna was soon caught in her thoughts, caged in the wildness of her imaginings. She pictured it now, or perhaps she wasn’t picturing it. A creature that stood higher than an apartment building. Flesh hung off its brittle bones in strings of hatred. It was horror beyond horror-a nightmare exceeding the most dreadful of nightmares. She felt her shirt stick awkwardly to her back, and she realised she was sweating perfidiously. The black holes where its eyes once must have been, gleamed with an evil intent, sunken into its face like a sinkhole in the dessert. Terrifying like all of her fears crammed horribly into one creature. It must have been newly brought back from the dead she was certain, freshly resurrected after thousands of years of decomposition. Its face was shrivelled like a hot-dog-too long in the microwave. Dried up and dented with deep cracks. Its nails were so long over grown they curved down low and stopped growing just before they hit the muddy Earth under them. And what once must have been the part of its body that exited its waste was gone! Shrivelled, or perhaps it was never there. As Suzanna thought of this she felt ready to throw up. However, stopped as it grabbed her jaw hard, and smiled maliciously at her. It mouth was nothing but a wrinkled piece of flesh covering nothing but part of its rotted gums. She scathed as she seen a beetle crawl across its only tooth, and its breath wreaked of dried blood, and dead flesh. The awful stench of rotted corpse that not yet fully decomposed filling the air she breathed. But the most awful sight was that underneath the torn clothing, and hanging flesh was a rib cage, but it had no heart. There was just blood oozing from the cracks of its skin. Bones pointing out of its skin like a child with mal-nutrition. “No, Suzanna! You’re awake, you’re just dreaming. You’re awake, you’re dreaming...” She nagged herself. She beat at her arms with a tremendous force, pinching her skin until she broke the tissue, and blood started to seep through the broken flesh. It started to hurt now. “No Suzanna...” She whispered weakly, “You’re awake...” more

Voting Question: Help!! I had a really really weird dream!!?

About a year ago I was asleep but I felt like I woke up. It was really weird it didn't feel like I was asleep or awake, but somewhere in between. I remember I had a feeling that something was behind me like on top of the pillow and I was scared to death. Then all of a sudden it was like a bright light just came into my head and I remember shaking. I ended up laying up on my back ( I was on my side before) and I was trying to move and scream mom but I could just barely move my hands. Then instead of waking up it felt like I had just snapped back to reality. It was like my eyes had been open but I had been in a daze. Then a few nights later I felt like I was having another dream but this time it was like the bright light was exiting my head. I saw it travel like a flash through the air about a foot or two then it disappeared. What do you think that was all about?? more

Resolved Question: Warning men do NOT touch those Buttons!!!! i posted this four weeks ago is it still funny???

A man travelling on a plane needed to go to the GENTS but every time he went there was someone else using it. After a while the Flight Attendant noticed his predicament and suggested he use the LADIES, but not to touch the buttons on the wall. He went in, took his seat, looking around he saw a panel with buttons marked thus: >>>>WW>>>WA>>>PP>>>ATR>>>> After a while his curiosity got the better of him so he pressed WW and warm water washed his bottom, This was marvellous. Then he pressed WA and warm air gushed out and dried his bottom, This is fantastic. He then pressed PP and out came a powder puff and powdered his bottom. He thought to himself these ladies have got it made. He then pressed ATR and promptly passed out. Waking up in hospital, he asked what has happened and the nurse replied. " You pressed the ATR button which means Automatic Tampon Remover, Your Penis is under your pillow and your balls are in a jar beside your bedside table" more

Resolved Question: what will become of air travel when we run out of fossil fuels?

Hi, (wasn't sure what category this fell under...) so airfares are skyrocketing due to fuel prices, they are charging us to bring a second bag, charging us to be fed, we're lucky to snag a blanket and a pillow on most airlines, etc... sorry, b***h moment, there. anyway, what will happen when we run out of oil? nuclear technology? just wonderin' what we have in the works more

Resolved Question: Suggestions for making long Air Travel more comfortable?

Hey all, I'm going to be flying to South America in a few months (about 14-15 hour flight). I've been on a plane numerous times, but most have been short flights. The longest i have been on was a 6 hour flight to New York. I get really stir crazy when I'm sitting in my seat for too long and I'm worried that this flight will be quite painful in that respect. I also get nauseous in turbulence, but it's not too bad. I can only sit and watch movies/listen to my iPod for so long, and I have trouble falling asleep on planes. Does anyone have any suggestions that would make this trip more comfortable??? I have considered getting prescriptions for Valium, but would rather get something over-the-counter for ease of purchase and easy transport (without paperwork). Or if anyone else has any non-drug suggestions, though I'm not sure new headphones or a pillow are going to solve my problem. Thanks in advance! more

Resolved Question: Cat Emergency!?

This morning my 13 year old found a small gray kitten on his way to school, he turned around and brought it to me, the kitten was dirty, hungry, obviously a stray but unusually affectionate, I bathed him, gave him some deworm pills (just in case) and cut his nails, he is so tame, he snuggles up to people and falls asleep on their laps and kissed my mother twice on her face, it's the most adorable thing ever! The problem is we already have two cats and two dogs whom we adore and my husband will not allow more pets (we spend a fortune in vet bills and pet hotels when we travel) I could call animal control but there are only kill shelters around here, I can't put him on the street! No one I know wants to adopt him! where can I find him a good home here in central Florida?!?!? By the way as I type he has snuggled into a pillow and is sleeping like an angel with his little paws in the air.Thank you for all your help guys, My mother decided to adopt the kitten, his name is PITUFO now (meaning Smurf)!!!!! more

Resolved Question: My friend is a nurse and tells me this is true do you believe it.?

A man travelling by plane was in urgent need of the toilet. But each time he looked up, the illuminated sign proclaimed that it was occupied. The stewardess, aware of his predicament, suggested that he uses the airplane's new prototype women's loo. But he must not press any of the buttons inside. The were labelled WW,WA,PP, and ATR. The man's curiousity got the best of him and he started pressing the buttons one by one. When he pressed WW, Warm, fragrant Water was sprayed all over his entire bottom. He thought, wow, the women really have it made. Still curious, he pressed the button marked WA, and a gentle breeze of Warm Air quickly dried his hindquarters. He thought this was fantastic and reached for the button marked PP. This yielded a large Powder Puff that delicately applied a soft talc to his rear. Naturally, he couldn't resist the last button marked ATR. When he woke up in the hospital, he buzzed for the nurse. "What happened to me? The last thing I remember is that I was in the new ladies' room on a plane." "Yes," replied the nurse, "apparently you were having a great time until you pressed the ATR button, which stands for AUTOMATIC TAMPON REMOVER. Your penis is under your pillow." more

Resolved Question: consider whether "Storm Warnings" could be written as a lyric??

The glass has been falling all the afternoon, And knowing better than the instrument What winds are walking overhead, what zone Of grey unrest is moving across the land, I leave the book upon a pillowed chair And walk from window to closed window, watching Boughs strain against the sky And think again, as often when the air Moves inward toward a silent core of waiting, How with a single purpose time has traveled By secret currents of the undiscerned Into this polar realm. This is our sole defense against the season; These are the things we have learned to do Who live in troubled regions. more

Resolved Question: dont want to be a woman.?

A man was travelling on a jumbo jet to Paris, when suddenly he felt a desperate urge to go and relieve himself. Unfortunately, there was a massive queue outside the men's toilet, but when he looked at the women's toilet, he saw that it was completely free. Hurrying down to the fore cabin, he intercepted an air hostess, and pleaded to use the women's loo, as he was desperate. She saw that the men's toilet was engaged, so she reluctantly submitted, but said 'whatever you do, do NOT press any of the buttons! It is essential that you remember this.' The man assented, and went into the toilet. After he'd relieved himself, he glanced at the wall, and saw three buttons, labelled: WW, WA, and ATR. He remembered the hostess' warning, but curiosity got the better of him, so he nervously prodded the WW button. Instantly, a gush of warm water sprayed up, and washed his buttocks clean. In rapture, the man then pressed the WA button, and he was blown dry with a gust of warm air. Now, deeming the buttons perfectly safe, the man recklessly hit the ATR button. At once, he felt an agonising pain in his groin, and instantly blacked out Upon waking, the man found himself in a hospital bed.He asked a nearby nurse what had happened. She asked contritely 'did you press the WW button?' He replied that he had, and what did it stand for? 'warm water' she replied sweetly. 'what did WA stand for?' 'warm air. I also understand that you pressed the ATR button...' 'yes, what did it stand for?' he quivered . 'Automatic tampon remover' she said brightly, 'You'll find your penis under your pillow more

Resolved Question: My Friends Dislike My Poetry...?

My friends dislike my poetry saying it is hard to read, it has no structure and has no rhythm. This is a poem I showed them called "She" which I wrote which they disliked...Should I just give up poetry..? She has a blue bed sheet for an ocean Encroached by a duvet we call land Spoilt by the sloth of humanity Who awakens to a cerulean sight She spins through the abyss Encompassed by a giant fish Whose cries I can hear On a cloudless dreamy day. She obeys the laws better than us Traveling through the void Her tides are at our feet Her cold air behind our ears. She has lands that are patchwork A quilt of many colours Dark forests like curtains at night Hills like upright pillows. She is the pearl of our system And has existed before our birth She is abundant with life Her name is called earth. more

Resolved Question: this is funny?

The stewardess, aware of his predicament suggested that he go ahead and use the ladies room, but cautioned him against using any of the buttons inside. The buttons were marked "WW, WA, PP and ATR". Making the mistake that so many men make in disregarding the importance of what a woman says, the man let his curiosity get the best of him and decided to try the buttons anyway. He carefully pressed the first button marked "WW" and immedately warm water sprayed all over his entire bottom. He thought, "WOW, the women really have it made!". Resolved Question: Traveling internationally, Packing problem please help?

We are moving in May and I bought some of those bags you hook a vacuum up to and suck out all the air to decrease the size. I had planned on using them to decrease the size of our 4 pillows and some sheets. My mother in law mentiond today what if they decided in customs to open them up and they all of a sudden trippled in size. I would be unable to get them back in my suitcases. Now I am not sure if I should use them but without them we can't take all we need for our move. What is your opinion, I have never traveled before. We are going to Romania through Amsterdam if that helpsWe are bringing our pillows as more a comfort to the children and sheets and towels are quite expensive and not as well made as we are used too. My mother in law has sent us a list of things we should bring because some of their items are very different or hard to find. more
