Would you give up all amenities to travel by air? $6 flights to offer standing room only: A European carrier will test dirt-cheap 'vertical seating.' European airline Ryanair is determined to install stand-up airline seats -- even though regulators say the setup doesn't meet safety requirements…The stand-up seats will have safety belts; Ryanair says the seat belts will go over passengers' shoulders and will conform to all regulations. So what do you think? Would such a low price entice you to fly this way? http://articles.moneycentral.msn.com/Inv… moreResolved Question: I have a few questions about air travel. Like what you can and can not bring now?
I am going to Central America from the US. Work is sending me for 2 week to do some volunteer work. The last time I was on a plane was back in the 90s. The two other times I have ever been on a plane was over 20 years ago. I just have some questions about things I can take with me. I know a lot has changed sense 2001. First I would like to know what is the size limit on a carry on bag. Can I also bring a computer bag, or any other kind of bag with my carry on. Like a backpack, or just a shopping bag with stuff I bring back. I just ask, because I am a guy, and a women can have a purse. If I say it is a man bag, or European shoulder bag can I get a way with that. Now for what I can bring in my bag. I was told you can't bring shampoo, or liquid things any more. I was also told you could, but they had to be the travel size ones. Can I bring this stuff if I put it in those see through travel size bottles, or does it have to be the real bottle it came in. Can I bring razors. The cheap Bic ones. Now for the big question. I need to check my blood sugar twice a day. Can I bring my meter with me. It has the things you pick your finger with to check you blood. I also have pills I have to take twice a day. Can I just bring my little pill box with what I need for each day, or do I need to bring the whole bottle for every one of them. Do I also need a note from my doctor for all my pills. It is an Intrenational flight, so I don't know if there are different rules for that kind of flight. I am just taking a carry on with me, so that is why I want to know what I can bring. I don't want to check my bag, because I don't want to wait around to pick it up after I land. Thank you for any answers you can give me. If you can only answer some of them that is fine. At least I will know more then I do now. moreResolved Question: European travelling packages and deals?
I am from australia and am considering taking 5 week holiday in europe on my uni holiday. What i would like to know is if there are European tours that include everything from air fairs acommodation and food that are relatively cheap as I am a student and on a budget! Thanks moreResolved Question: What do you think of my book idea?
Hi, I'm 15 years old and I love writing for a living. I have come up with a book idea, and I feel to best explain the back-ground on it is this: 2009- Now 2037- Moon Colony is Established by efforts of NASA, and European Space Agency. 2040- World Population Reaches 10 billon 2045- Earth’s resources begin to run low 2048- Mining operations are set up on Mars after water and other minerals are found underground 2050- The terraforming process of Mars begins 2060- Moon Colony's population reaches one million, almost near max capacity for the colony, so the colony is expanded. 2070- Mining ops on Mars are even further expanded. 2077- Construction on the massive Earth Space Station begins, meant for civilian and research purposes. 2080- Nearly all of Earth’s resources are exhausted, and most resources come from Mars, the Moon, or the Outer Asteroid Belt. 2120- Space travel is made public after technology advances and cheaper building techniques in spacecraft, including more powerful engines that require even less fuel. 2125- War breaks out between the New Soviet Union, China, and Korea vs. United States, United Kingdom, Canada, Australia, Germany, France, Poland, and Spain. The War results in almost total destruction of Oceania, the United Kingdom, and Korea. Germany and France stage an assault on the Soviet Union with the remainder of the British Armed Forces, using Lend-Lease equipment from America. 2127- After nearly two years of occupation, The New Soviet Union surrenders, and has a Government set up by Germany and Poland. 2138- Remembering the horrible World War eleven years ago, European nations set up a federation- which in less than two years, rapidly grows from six nations, to fifty-one nations. 2140- Earth Space Station construction is completed. 2140- The World Alliance, formed in 2138, is renamed to the Earth Republic after the nations involved are conjoined under one unified government, the following armed forces branches renamed to: Earth’s Army, Earth Naval Armada, Earth Air Corps., and Earth Marines Corps. 2155- People from the remnants of The United Kingdom and Oceania set out on July 16th, 2155, for the Asteroid Belt beyond Mars. The Earth Republic hates the idea, but with the influence of a few powerful leaders, sends supplies to help them on the way. 2156- The refugees that set out on July 16th last year arrive on January 28th, which have come to call themselves “Lorgonians” 2158- Successful trade route is set up between Lorgonia and Earth. 2221- The Moon Colony is nearly wiped out by a very large asteroid. 2230- The newest anti-asteroid technology is perfected. Had it been nine years earlier, the old colony would still be there. 2236- The Earth Space Armada is added to the Earth Federation as a military branch, for colonization purposes. 2266- Lorgonia is officially recognized as a super-power, having over eight-thousand square kilometers of land on assorted asteroids, and a population close to 900 million, with it’s capital city, Lorgon, located on the asteroid Ceres. 2355- Terraforming process of Mars is complete to the extent that humans may live on it, however terraforming still resumes, and is scheduled to resume for another century-and-a-half. 2363- Mars Colony is setup by the Earth Space Armada, and rapidly grows from people wishing to get away from the over-populated Earth, with now, 11-billion human beings. Rural areas on Earth are very rare. 2365- Lorgonia asks permission to set-up a colony on Mars and the ESA denies it. 2368- A Large build-up of Lorgonian military ships are observed by ESA reconnaissance. 2369(June, Earth time)- Lorgonia conducts a full scale assault on Mars, for resources, and lands ten Marine divisions on Mars, plus four Army divisions with close-Air support. Lorgonian fleet remains unopposed for two months 2369(August, Earth time)- Two months after Lorgonian siege of Mars, Rear Admiral Kenneth Howard of the ESA gathers a force of twenty Army divisions and nearly 3/4ths of the ESA fleet for counter attack. 2369(September 12th, Earth time) Admiral Howard’s fleet arrives, and encounters heavy resistance. As the ESA lands troops on the surface, a heavy atmospheric battle ensues for over four days. The ESA admits defeat and withdraws into deep space. Howard’s Capital ship, ESA Mjolnir, is heavily damaged, beyond repair, and is abandoned, with the crew’s life pods hitting Arcadia, the landing site for Earth ground troops. 2369(December 24th, Earth time) After four days of heavy fighting in the atmosphere, the ESA fleet is gone and the ground troops are stranded. Among the dead and missing is Admiral Howard. Of the one-hundred-and-thirty-one ESA ships that took part in the assault, eighty-four came out in tact or lightly damaged. Most of the Earth Republic’s ground forces are dead or taken prisoner. A few pockets of resistance still remain. 2370- moreResolved Question: what websites flight is more cheaper to buy airfare international, also i need coupon code help please urgent!?

It's been almost a year or so, since someone posted a travel question here at Y!A "Israel". It seems that there's a change of plans here at home and I might be visiting Israel very soon. There are some big efforts from the European community to revive the Israelian tourism by offering cheap flights to The Hague next Spring. Since there's going to be a very large crowd wanting to travel to Hague, I think I might start arranging my trip early. I just wanna be there when all of them Jewish celebs will start rushing in. I am not interested in any of them cheap-no-name charter flights. I have no problem paying business class air fare, although I aint rich or anything. Thanks for your time Steel moreResolved Question: Is it cheaper to travel by train or plane while travelling in Europe?

Can someone help me devise a plan? cheers moreResolved Question: Did you know that only 20 % or less of Americans have a passport.?
Presumably the ones that do mainly go to Mexico or Canada. Air travel is so cheap these days that a lot of Brits think nothing of jumping on a plane to NY for some cheap shopping. Europeans are used to travelling to different countries and experiencing many different cultures throughout their lives. and European newspapers carry a lot more foreign news coverage than US ones. Whatever the reasons do you think that this results in many Americans having a stereotyped view of people from different foreign countries based on Hollywood films and that this can lead to a dangerously insular attitude ? Unfortunatly many Americans come accross as arrogant and ignorant. If you read the wording of my question I do not think it comes accross as arrogant. I am simply stating a fact that few people, American or otherwise, would dispute. I did not say I agree with this view. I am trying to find out what you guys think about this. Don't shoot the messanger. Thanks for your thoughts. Someone mentioned that they only get 2 weeks holiday and I have heard this is not uncommon in the States. In the UK 5 weeks is the norm and often 6 weeks in the rest of Western Europe so people often take 2 vacations a year. moreResolved Question: I need names of european airlines besides Ryan Air, help.?
